Dallas CSA Leaders Network Holds Monthly Meeting At The Wellington at Arapaho in Richardson

The local chapter of Certified Senior Advisors recently held their monthly meeting at The Wellington at Arapaho, an Independent and Assisted Living community in Richardson.

The Certified Senior Advisor (CSA designation is the leading professional credential for persons seeking to work more effectively with their senior clients. A CSA has attained the broad-based knowledge of the health, social, and financial issues that are important to seniors, as well as the dynamics of how these factors work together in seniors’ lives.

This month’s speaker was Teresa Brewer, a Certified Public Accountant and CSA who spoke on “Tax Tips and Blips”, particularly as they pertain to tax situations commonly associated with Seniors.

Director of Marketing for The Wellington, Trish Thompson, did a wonderful job serving as our host. Refreshments and door prizes were provided for those attending the meeting, and Trish also conducted tours of the community afterwards. Her graciousness was very much appreciated!

The Wellington at Arapaho in Richardson offers both Independent and Assisted Living options for residents, and is conveniently located less than 30 minutes from downtown Dallas.

For anyone interested in becoming a CSA or simply learning more about it, you can join them at one of their monthly meetings held every 3rd Tuesday of the month at various venues across the Dallas area. You can also email Becca Metoyer for more information at info@secondfamilyhc.com.
