Former Senator Florence Shapiro Speaks at the Plano Chamber of Commerce Women’s Division Holiday Lun
Second Family Home Care attended a festive affair of The Plano Chamber of Commerce Women’s Division luncheon on December 10, 2014, at Gleneagles Country Club in Plano, Texas. The key note speaker was business professional and Former Senator, Florence Shapiro. Among other interests, Mrs. Shapiro is now the Executive Director of Collin County Business Alliance. The mission of the CCBA is to leverage its collective resources and partnerships to champion positive change, a dynamic business environment and an exceptional quality of life throughout Collin County. It was an enjoyable time to be had by all. There were over 80 members in attendance and we were entertained by the Plano Symphony Orchestra.

The Plano Chamber of Commerce Women’s Division promotes women in business through our monthly networking and educational luncheons and professional development programs. In harmony with the Plano Chamber of Commerce mission “to maximize business performance through advocacy, education and networking”, we strive to act as role models, educators and mentors to women. We provide a platform to support and encourage women in business and to provide a voice within the Chamber for women’s business issues.
The Plano Chamber of Commerce Women’s Division luncheons are held on the second Wednesday of each month at Gleneagles Country Club. The cost is $28.00 for members, $38.00 for prospective members and guests. Gleneagles Country Club is located at 5401 West Park Boulevard, just north of Preston Road, in Plano. Registration and networking begin at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins promptly at noon. Lunch and business are concluded by 1:00 p.m.
