“Mardi Gras actually means what?”

New Orleans and Mardi Gras are often associated with which type of music? In celebration of Fat Tuesday, Second Family Home Care recently partnered with The Wellington at Arapaho in Richardson to host a Mardi Gras social for their residents. Along with the usual array of fun trivia questions and songs, Director of Marketing Tim Powell also included several trivia questions related to Mardi Gras in celebration of the day.
Over 40 residents participated and enjoyed drinks and appetizers while answering questions and singing along with Tim. Door prizes were raffled off and included an array of goodies complete with Mardi Gras beads and masks!
The Wellington at Arapaho in Richardson offers both Independent and Assisted Living options for residents, and is conveniently located less than 30 minutes from downtown Dallas. Activities Director Oly Goujat does a wonderful job planning and coordinating a variety of daily events and it’s obvious the residents truly enjoy their lifestyle here!
