Second Family Home Care Participates in the 25th Annual Fall Forum for the Dallas Area Gerontologica
Second Family Home Care was proud to participate in the 25th Annual Fall Forum for the Dallas Area Gerontological Society (DAGS). The Forum was held October 16, 2014, from 8:00 to 4:00 at the Fellowship Bible Church in Dallas. The Forum theme was “The Aging ®Evolution: It’s Gonna be Alright” with topics addressing the current conditions and important trends in the aging population.
DAGS is a non-profit, voluntary member organization whose mission is to provide continuing education on Gerontological topics, provide scholarships to individuals pursuing a career in the aging field, and to advocate for improved services for the elderly.
Forum speakers included Dr. T. Bryan Callister, Dr. Diana Kerwin and Dr. Paul Tobolowsky. There were 55 exhibitors sharing important information with attendees.
DAGS holds monthly meetings at various locations in the greater Dallas area that are free and open to non-members. Each program is on an educational topic relating to aging. Dates, topics and locations of past and upcoming events are available at www.dags.org .
