With some new tricky trivia questions in hand, Director of Marketing Tim Powell, and owner Becca Metoyer traveled just up the road to Frisco, where The Lodge at Quail Park hosted the latest edition of Trivia and Tunes.
Voted “Best of Assisted Living” by Frisco Enterprise Poll Readers, for six consecutive years, The Lodge at Quail Park is a casually elegant retirement community. Their 64 premier apartments are comfortably situated in a quiet residential area of Frisco, Texas, but just moments away from major freeways, shopping, and entertainment. The Lodge at Quail Park offers residents “Enhanced Assisted Living”, which includes an on-site Primary Care and a fully equipped physician exam room on the third floor. The assisted living residents can see the visiting primary care physician in the convenience of their own home without having to travel offsite for such services.
Approximately 30 residents participated in this latest Trivia and Tunes event, including some of the most robust and enthusiastic singers to be found anywhere! As fun as the singing and silly questions were, the time was also bittersweet as the staff and residents also held an appreciation social for Activity Director Karen Rowlett. Karen is leaving her position at The Lodge at Quail Park to assume a similar position at another community. It was easy to see from the hugs and tears just how beloved Karen is by the residents here, and she will obviously be missed. This is the only venue where Second Family Home Care has ever been asked to bring “savory snacks” for the residents, spoken in Karen’s charming British accent!
